Manu 6D/5N: The most important and tropical area of ​​the world is undoubtedly THE MANU NATIONAL PARK, located in the south eastern region of Peru, between the provinces of Paucartambo Cusco and Manu in Madre de Dios. DAY 1: PCUSCO – PILCOPATA TAWN

Very early in the morning we will pick you up from your hotel in our private bus, we will ascend to the upper area of ​​the province of Paucartambo along this route we will have our first stop to visit the pre-Inca funerary towers of Ninamarca, after continuing to through the mountains to reach the folk town of Paucartambo. Here we will have a short walk through the main square and a colonial bridge, continuing our journey we will reach Acjanaco (3560 masl) where the Manu National Park begins. From here we will continue in the Cloud Forest and San Pedro, where we will walk for about 1 hour to observe the national bird of Peru, the COCK OF THE ROCK, and different types of monkeys, plants and flowers and in the afternoon we will arrive to the village from Pilcopata tawn where we will sleep in a shelter.

DAY 2: PILCOPATA TAWN- OTORONGO LAKE – SAFARI LODGE

In the morning very early we will have our delicious breakfast to continue our trip by boat on the Alto Madre de Dios river. Where we can observe a wide variety of birds, such as herons, kingfishers and always the presence of vultures of which the most spectacular is the condor of the jungle, the king of vultures (Scarcoramphus papa) and the Jaguar (Panthera Onca) . After a brief stop in the town of Boca Manu to rest and then continue with our trip and one begins to realize why Manu is so famous, because he still has animals in his wild life. On the banks of the river there are groups of turtles, white alligators (Cayman cocodrylus) or perhaps some ronsocos (Hydrochaeris hydrochaeris) and much more. In the afternoon we arrived at our camp located in Otorongo Lake.

DAY 3: OTORONGO LAKE – SALVADOR LAKE

This day after breakfast very early we visited Salvador Lake which is 30 minutes from Otorongo Lake. On a catamaran we paddle silently to observe the wolves of the river again and a variety of strange birds such as the sultana (Porphyrula martinica) or the agami (Agamia agami). Later we walked on the main trails with the guide to learn the operation and the secrets of the tropical forest. In the afternoon we return to our camp in Otorongo Lake. Optional night walk.

DAY 4: OTORONGO LAKE – BOCA MANU

Very early in the morning and with the howls of the cotomonos, we will have our breakfast to then take walks around Salvador Lake, then board our boat that will take us downstream to Boca Manu which is a small town located at the confluence of the Manu and Alto Madre de Dios rivers. Optional a night walk around the lodge. Night in hostel.

DAY 5: BOCA MANU – LODGE

After a delicious breakfast, we continue by boat to the lodge. Once again we have the option to enjoy the birdlife. Night in hostel.

DAY 6: PORT ATALAYA – CUSCO

We get up very early to take our breakfast and return to the port of Atalaya by boat. Our private bus will be waiting for us to take us back to Cusco through the cloud forest and Paucartambo. We will arrive in Cusco in the afternoon and end of our services.
